Allan Williamson's Son's Death

The following is a message from our dear friend and colleague Allan Williamson about the death of their son. Please keep Allan and Sue in your prayers during this very difficult time. For the new leaders, Allan Williamson is the youth director for the Southern Union:

Message from Allan:

Friday afternoon, December 26, our lives were changed as we lost our oldest son Jeff when he died instantly from a massive blood clot to his lung. Jeff was only 44 years old and had fought a valiant fight with NF II (neurofibromatosis) for twenty years which causes tumors to grow on nerve endings and is very painful with constant itching and burning. In the past he had many tumors removed and in 2004 tried the cyberknife surgery but they would grow back in the same spots plus additional ones. Modern science and medicine has not found a cure for NF.

A family funeral service will be held at the Hernando Funeral Home, 2285 Highway 51, Hernando, MS 38622 Phone: 662-429-5260 on Monday evening, December 29 with a viewing at 6:30 and the funeral service at 7:00 p.m.
