I AM A GRAND PA!!!!!!!  On Wednesday April 16, 2008 at 12:27 a.m. our daughter Raquel and her husband William gave birth to our first grand-daughter.  Her name is Elyse Stefani Jayla Mack.  She weighed in at 6 lbs 10 oz.  She measures 19 inches (a good sign that she will be taller than her dad, lol).
Maxine and I are so excited to be grandparents.  Elyse has already received a record number of kisses from us.  All our friends and family who are already grandparents tried to explain the adrenaline, but nothing could have prepared us for these emotions.  To know that this little girl is part of seed is a blessing.  Our family solicits your prayers as we seek God*s guidance in providing the best life for Elyse.  See her photos at http://www.babiesonline.com/babies/e/elysestefanijayla .  The password is babygirl.


I can not help but think about the thousands of babies born everyday into a world of uncertainty.  A total different reality welcomes them at
birth: coldness with no one to hold them, poverty, homeless, disease, illness, etc.  As my family celebrate in thanksgiving to God, I want to take this opportunity to remind us to mindful of those who little ones who will never have the blessings we all received from birth until now.
Reach out to those in foster care, shelters, homeless, etc.  Notice every child, encourage teenage mothers, or start an Adventurer Ministry.
 Remember, every child is worth the time.
